Friends of the Topiary Park

Established in 1991, Friends of the Topiary Park is a nonprofit organization dedicated to the support and promotion of the Topiary Park. The Friends organize all fundraising and volunteer efforts for garden upkeep, general administrative duties, running the Visitors’ Center and providing docent-led tours. The Friends have also been instrumental in raising funds to maintain and develop the park’s resources.

Over the years, Friends of the Topiary Park have both raised and donated funds. These gifts have provided benches, trees, picnic tables, flowers, groundcovers, hanging baskets, fish and boat planters for the park. Friends of the Topiary Park partially funded pond construction, the irrigation system, gatehouse construction, the lawn and other amenities, including this Web site. Volunteers, recruited and coordinated by Friends of the Topiary Park, install and maintain the groundcover beds and many of the flowers.
