Topiary Garden in Old Deaf School Park

Reception to follow lighting.

Guests will step into a magical garden

embellished with over 50,000 lights,

enjoy songs of the season performed by

Short North Stage,

mingle with ballerinas from BalletMet,

sip a glass of wine and enjoy the company of friends.

Saturday, December 7th, noon to 4pm. As central Ohioans deck their halls for the holiday season, Columbus Discovery District and the Topiary Park will spruce up for the season as never before! Bring the family down for a fun-filled day of exploring the many events that will be happening in the area located in the eastern part of downtown. The OPEN HOUSE event is FREE!

This years family activities include:

· Free guided bus tours by docents from Columbus Landmarks Foundation through the Discovery District from noon to 4 p.m.

· Fun childrens crafts:

· Decorating Crowns at BalletMet

· Making eyeglasses at Thurber House

· Making snow monsters at Columbus Museum of Art

· and through the woods holiday ornament craft at the Topiary Park

· Drawings for a variety of gifts from a birthday party in The Topiary Park to tickets to the ballet.

Faith Mission will be hosting a sock drive. Please bring a new pair of socks to give! There will be a drop box at each location for sock drop off.

Free parking will be available at the State Auto parking lots located at 518 E. Broad Street.

Family fun events will also be hosted at Hills Downtown Market, Kelton House, Kappa Kappa Gamma, The Grass Skirt, Replenish Spa, Columbus Metropolitan Library and CCAD. The CCAD art sale begins at 10am.
